#dedoc° voices at ATTD asia

Technology, access and lived experience across Asia

ATTD Asia brings conversations around innovative diabetes therapies and technologies into one of the world's most diverse regions.

For #dedoc°, it creates an important opportunity to connect scientific innovation with the very different realities of accessing and living with diabetes technology across Asia.

We would like to thank ATTD and the Kenes Group for welcoming the #dedoc° voices to their conference, as well as our sponsors, for making this scholarship program possible.

WHY ATTD ASIA MATTERS

Innovation looks different depending on where you live

A technology can exist and still remain out of reach.

Across Asia, differences in healthcare systems, reimbursement, geography, resources and awareness can create very different experiences of diabetes care.

ATTD Asia creates space to discuss innovation in that regional context.

#dedoc° voices bring the perspective of people navigating those realities every day and remind us that progress should be measured not only by what becomes possible, but by who can access it.

2024

Singapore

#dedoc° voices joined the first-ever ATTD Asia conference in Singapore, connecting advocates with an international community focused on diabetes technology and innovation.

For some, it was their first international scientific diabetes conference, creating not only access to knowledge, but a new sense of belonging in spaces where lived experience has too often been missing.

2026

Kyoto

#dedoc° returns for the third Asian Conference on Innovative Therapies for Diabetes Management, continuing to bring advocates and lived experience into conversations about the future of diabetes technology across the region.

#dedoc° voices for partners

Partners contribute to the #dedoc° voices program because they wish to engage with leading diabetes advocates in a compliant way. They do so through a non-commercial, non-exclusive multi-sponsorship approach to ensure the highest degree of independence, transparency and credibility for the patient voice.
