#docday° on World Diabetes Day 2023

#dedoc° is a platform for others to stand on.

14 November is World Diabetes Day. This day commemorates the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, the scientist who first discovered, isolated and administered insulin in one of the greatest medical breakthroughs in history.

On World Diabetes Day, #dedoc° hosts a special edition of #docday° in partnership with IDF Europe, the European region of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF).

Live on Facebook, YouTube and this website.

What is #docday°?

#docday° allows diabetes advocates from all walks of life to share their advocacy work or personal story with the Diabetes Online Community. What started as an improvised get-together of diabetes bloggers in a small co-working café in Stockholm in 2015 has developed into a colorful series of virtual events. #docdays° follow our celebrated open door policy, with diabetes advocates, other diabetes organisations and industry partners invited to join and present projects, initiatives and awareness campaigns serving the diabetes community.

If you would like to present at #docday°! We'd love to hear from you – and so do thousands of others in the Diabetes Online Community.
